Dmitri Hvorostovsky is a baritone singer born in Krasnoïarsk in Siberia. He began his career in Russia in the beginning of the 1980’s but got popular in the Occident only in 1989 when he won the BBC Singer of the World in Cardiff, Great-Britain. Since that day, he has played in many prestigious stages throughout the world such as The Metropolitan Opera in New York, The Covent Garden in London , The Wiener Staatsoperin Vienna, etc. Dmitri Hvorostovsky will be presenting ashow in Montreal at the Wilfrid-Pelletier Hall March 26th 2010.
