Mark Knopfler

Mark Knopfler is a British singer who makes music from the 70s. He's an author, composer and guitarist. In the late 70s, he created a band with his brother, "Dire Straits" and they together produce a lot of successful albums as the album Brother in Arms. This album was the first in the history of music to sell more than one million discs. Later, in 1990, he created the group "The Notting Hillbillies" composed of him and some friends including Ed Bicknell his former manager. Their only album Missing ... presumed having a good time was immediatly an internationnal success. Recently, Mark Knopfler was back with a new album and a new tour called Get Lucky and he will be in Montreal in April 2010 at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at the Place des Arts.
