Andrew Bird is and american violinist.  He also plays the guitar, the mandolin, the xylophone, the glockenspiel and he wistles.  He whistles so well he wrote and performed "The Whistling Caruso" for The Muppets movie and soundtrack.

He just released his twelfth album Echolocations: Canyon.

Andrew Bird will be in Montreal as part of his new tour and will be at the Virgin Mobile Corona Theatre in April 2016.  He has promised that 1$ from every ticket sold on his North American leg of the tour will go to organasations working to end gun violence.
