Brandi Carlile is an American singer.  She's originally from the same state as Kurt Cobain, Washington.

Since she started her career in 2000, Brandi's recorded 15 albums.  She even has three of the songs on the soundtrack of the popular television series Grey's Anatomy.

Brandi Carlile will be at the Festival d'Été de Québec, on July 7th, 2016, as the opening act to Peter Gabriel & Sting.  She'll be presenting her greatest songs and her latest album, The Firewatcher's daughter.
