Béatrice Martin, aka Coeur de Pirate, is a singer, musician and songwriter from Quebec. The latter has many strings to her bow, as she can also be found acting in several films, and dubbing animated features. 
She released her eponymous debut album in 2008, which proved a hit not only in Quebec but also in Canada. Her song Comme des Enfants topped the album sales charts in Canada, becoming only the second French-language song to achieve this feat. She now has no fewer than 8 studio albums to her name.
