Frederic John Elgersma, better known under his stage name Fred Eaglesmith is a alternative country singer-songwritter.  He's known for writting about trains, trucks, tractors, etc...  And also about canadian rural country life.

He has two names for his band.  It depends on the style of music they're playing.  The Flying Squirrels play folk and rock music and The Flathead Noodles play bluegrass music.

He'll be coming to Montreal at the Petit Campus in September 2015.
