Lulu Hugues began her career in the 80’s as a part of Montréal’s own group ‘Soul What’ after which she was chorister for many artists, Too Many Cook, Dan Bigras, Roch Voisine and Barry White to name a few.  She became well known due to her incredible voice and boundless energy. She was hired by Luc Plamondon in 1999 for the production Starmania where she took on the role of Marie-Jeanne. Lulu Hugues has collaborated with many artists and has lent her voice to several albums sucha as ‘Release Yourself, Fell It and Give Me Some Love’.
