Marie-Andrée Benny is a flute player originally from Joliette.  She pursues a career as a soloist, a chamber-music player and a orchestra musician.  She also teaches at the Conservatory, at the Domaine Forget Summer Academy and at the Laurentians Musical Camp.

Marie-Andrée Benny is dedicated to a big career when at the age of 17, she won the first prize for Interpretation in Chamber Music at the Music Conservatory of Montreal.  She's won many other prizes and also got a bursary from the Art Counsel of Canada that allowed her to study music outside Canada.

Marie-Andrée Benny will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series Les Grands Concerts presented by Hydro-Quebec at Salle André-Mathieu in October 2015.  She'll be accompanied by Alain Trudel, Conductor.
