Marillion are a british rock band formed in England in 1979.  They've recorded 17 albums and sold over 15 millions albums to date.  They are now recording their 18th album.  And, like usual, they are doing things their way and are proposing to their fans to buy the album on pre-sale on the web site Pledge Music.  This will give fans acces to songs before everyone else and give them other special treats.  The launching of their new album is set for the spring of 2016.

They are well known for being the first mainstream act to use the internet for marketing and getting known.  They've also made a documentary about themselves titled Unconventional.

Marillion will be in Montreal at the Virgin Mobile Corona Theater in November 2016 as part of their Marillion Live in North America Tour.
