Protomartyr is a band from Detroit, Michigan.  Greg Ahee and Alex Leonard were a duo, Butt Babies.  They were joined by Joe Casey and Scott Davidson in 2008 and formed the band Protomartyr together.  Their first album came out in 2012 and was titled No Passion All Technique.  In 2014, the band toured extensively in the US and even participated in the SXSW festival.

In July 2015, they launched their third album, The Agent Intellect.  They'll be touring and stoping in Montreal in October 2015 at Bar Le Ritz P.D.B.
