Born in New Brunswick, Roch Voisine, songwriter, abandoned a promising field hockey career after an injury. He then went on stage for the first time in 1986.
In 1989, with his song
Hélène,
I'll Always Be There with more than 3 million albums sold propelled his career not only in
Quebec but in Europe.
You did not dream he is also an actor and he donned the National jersey in the popular television series Lance et Compte in which he brilliantly plays Danny Ross.
Roch Voisine joined Garou and
Corneille for the project Forever Gentlemen which was presented at the
Bell Centre.
