Steve Hackett was a member of the band Genesis.  He was a guitarist for them from 1971 to 1977.  But, in 1975, while still a member of Genesis, he started his solo career.

Steve Hackett is recognised for pioneering "tapping".   He developed a very particular sound with his guitar.  It's ethereal, poetic, almost unreal!

Steve Hackett launched his 26th record in 2015 titled Wolflight.  He will be performing Acolyte to Wolflight with Genesis Revisited Tour - The Total Experience at the Maisonneuve Theater in Montreal in March 2016.
