Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band that has been around for almost 20 years now. They are still very passionate with 14 albums to their credit, including 5 live albums.
 
The author of most of the lyrics says he takes his inspiration from movies such as The Pirate of the Caribbean, Gladiator, The Lion King and The Last Samurai.
